Wendy Barrett, DO

Dr. Wendy Barrett is a board-certified internist at Concierge Medical Care in Denver, Colorado. A Colorado native, she earned a bachelor's degree in advertising from the University of Colorado Boulder and spent a decade in corporate America before a deeper calling pulled her toward medicine, one built on caring for people rather than a bottom line. She went on to earn her medical degree from Rocky Vista University and completed an internal medicine residency through Sky Ridge Medical Center and HCA, working first as a hospitalist before moving into primary care.

Dr. Barrett calls herself a "lifestyle doctor," and she builds personalized health plans around each patient's goals and risk factors. The concierge model gives her the time to really know the people she treats, and she remains an attending physician with the Sky Ridge/HCA residency program. She is board certified through the American College of Osteopathic Internists.

At home, she and her husband are raising a daughter, and she likes to cook, bake, and try out new restaurants around Denver.
