William Ingram, MD

William Ingram, known as Dr. Trae Ingram, is a board-certified family medicine physician at Concierge Medicine Iowa in West Des Moines. He believes medical care should fit into a patient's life rather than disrupt it. He keeps his practice intentionally small, with only a few hundred patients, to leave real room for preventive care.

Trae spent eight years building a large, successful practice in eastern Iowa. This included a stretch in family medicine at Medical Associates in Clinton, where he became known locally for his work in sports medicine. He then set out to build a concierge practice in Des Moines centered on restoring the doctor-patient relationship. He trained at Saba University School of Medicine and completed residency at Broadlawns Medical Center University of Iowa, serving as chief resident.

His interests include chronic disease management, preventive health and wellness, healthy aging, bioidentical hormone replacement, weight management, travel medicine and sports medicine. He holds privileges at Iowa Methodist and Mercy Hospitals, belongs to the American Academy of Private Physicians, and is a diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine.
