Dimitri Coupet, MD

Dr. Dimitri Coupet is a family medicine physician at Coupet Family Medicine in Laurel. Originally from New York, he earned a bachelor's degree in sociology from Queens College of the City University of New York before heading to St. George's University School of Medicine for his medical degree. He completed his residency through the Loyola University-Cook County Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program in Chicago.

His practice centers on preventive medicine, with particular attention to diabetes, obesity, and high blood pressure, conditions he works with patients to manage and, where possible, get ahead of.

These days he calls Laurel home. When he's not seeing patients, he likes spending time with family and friends, and he has a creative streak that comes out in drawing and painting. He's also happy to catch a movie or plan his next trip.
