Mikel Hofmann, MD

Mikel Anne Hofmann, MD has been serving patients in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area since 2009, though she is originally from Albany, Georgia. She earned both her B.S. and M.D. from The Florida State University and completed her residency training at the Georgetown University/Providence Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program in 2012.

A board-certified family physician, Dr. Hofmann's clinical interests include adult and pediatric care, women's health, and long-term continuity of care. Before founding CuraCapitol, she served as the Medical Director of a local clinic dedicated to caring for underserved communities.

She also teaches as a Family Medicine preceptor for Georgetown University School of Medicine, helping train the next generation of physicians. Dr. Hofmann has been recognized as a Washingtonian Magazine "Top Doctor" in both 2024 and 2025.

Outside of medicine, she enjoys running, spending time with her family, volunteering, and engaging in advocacy work.
