Dr. Stefie Deeds is a board-certified internal medicine doctor and obesity medicine specialist who founded Deeds Health in Seattle. As an experienced primary care doctor and researcher, she watched the system intervene only after patients got sick instead of helping them stay well, and she started Deeds Health to change that.
She's part of a growing movement in medicine toward moving care upstream, addressing the root causes of disease rather than just treating what shows up after the fact. Dr. Deeds trained at the University of Michigan, Case Western School of Medicine, and the University of Washington, and her work centers on evaluating the metabolic drivers behind health and disease.
Her clinical interests include weight management, women's health, and longevity. She draws on evidence-based nutrition, lifestyle changes, and medicine to help each patient work toward their own health goals.
