Dallin Hubbard, MD PhD

Dr. Dallin Hubbard is a pediatrician, physician-scientist, and proud dad of seven kids. He earned both an MD and a PhD in biomedical engineering and nanotechnology from the University of Utah.

He completed his pediatric residency at Riley Hospital in Indiana, caring for medically complex children, and has done extensive research and training in neonatology. Dr. Hubbard has co-founded startups, published several first-author research papers, holds a U.S. patent, and worked as a visiting researcher at University College Dublin.

He is passionate about bridging the gap between scientific discovery and real-world medical care. However, he notes that nothing has prepared him for pediatrics as much as being a parent to seven children and witnessing the challenges families face from fevers to long wait times and impersonal appointments.

After seeing how overwhelming and unwelcoming the healthcare system can be for families, Dr. Hubbard founded Direct Care Pediatrics, a personal practice built around accessible, flexible, and individualized care. He stays up to date on the latest treatments and believes in a flexible, family-centered approach.

He works with families whether they prefer holistic and integrative options or traditional evidence-based medicine, and is honored to perform medical assessments for U.S. military recruits heading to boot camp.
