Jennifer McCabe Lentz, MD

Jennifer McCabe Lentz is a board-certified family medicine physician at Direct Family Care of Northern Colorado in Fort Collins. She earned her medical degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine in 2001, completed her residency in Fort Collins in 2004, and later spent several years practicing in a rural Washington community before returning home.

In 2018 she left the traditional healthcare system to open her own practice. Her focus now leans toward keeping patients well before disease strikes, and reversing it where she can, using diet, strength training, sleep, stress management, and hormone balance alongside medication when it's truly needed. Board certified in Obesity Medicine since 2016, she has long championed nutrition as a way to treat metabolic disease, and she and her family live out the habits she recommends.

Building real partnerships with her patients is what drives her, and direct primary care gives her the unhurried time to do it without the usual red tape.
