Brian Fretwell

Brian Fretwell is a physician assistant and the founder and CEO of Direct Primary Care Associates, PLLC in Dalton. Originally from Vero Beach, Florida, he has lived in Cleveland, Tennessee, for most of his adult life and worked earlier as a field and flight paramedic before earning dual degrees in PA studies and public health from Nova Southeastern University.

Over 27 years he built experience across emergency, family, and occupational medicine, and he has carried that background into shaping DPCA's approach to primary care, aiming to pair excellent care with real value and expanded access for patients and businesses in the region.

A conservationist at heart, Fretwell spends his free time hunting and fishing, traveling, and pitching in on civic and philanthropic causes with family, and he never misses a chance to cheer on Tennessee football.
