McKenna Freed is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who grew up in Spokane, Washington. She earned her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Washington State University and spent six years as a registered nurse on the cardiac transplant unit at Sacred Heart Medical Center. She completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from WSU, specializing in family medicine. During her training, she completed clinical rotations in family medicine, endocrinology, and nephrology. Her clinical interests include cardiac health, diabetes management, internal medicine, and preventive care. She was introduced to the Direct Primary Care model during her clinical rotations and was drawn to its emphasis on transparency, accessibility, and relationship-based care. WA Telemedicine Trained.
