Ilka Nazario, MD

Dr. Ilka Nazario is a physician double board certified in internal medicine and pediatrics at Direct Primary Care - Ilka Nazario, MD in Tampa. She trained at Ponce School of Medicine and completed her combined residency in Youngstown, Ohio in 2005.

In the 18 years since, she has practiced primary care in both outpatient and inpatient settings, worked in urgent care, and spent the last seven years as a traveling physician seeing patients across the country. That range gave her a broad view of medicine, and she's especially drawn to caring for adolescents and older adults, always with an eye toward treating the whole person.

Born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Dr. Nazario believes every patient deserves personalized, affordable, quality care, an idea she built her private practice around for individuals, families and employers alike. Her Christian faith shapes the way she treats each person, with the dignity and respect she feels everyone deserves.
