Dr. McCarthy attended medical school at the University of Florida and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Florida. He has been in practice for more than 15 years, opening his own private practice in 2003 before joining a larger practice in 2011. He has now returned to a small concierge-style primary care model to focus on personalized care.
