Rachel Huerta, Autonomous Family Nurse Practitioner

Rachel Huerta is a National Board Certified Nurse Practitioner at Direct Primary Care of Boca Raton, where she treats patients in the South Florida city she calls home. A Boca Raton native, she earned her nurse practitioner degree from FAU and started her career as a registered nurse at one of the nation's leading hospitals. That background shaped her belief that better healthcare comes from time, attention, and a real relationship between doctor and patient. It's what drew her to the direct primary care model, where she can offer personalized care without an insurance company standing in the way.

Rachel stays active in the Boca Raton community, from local leadership to medical mission trips and advocacy for children in foster care. She has served as Past President of the Rotary Club of Boca Raton. She and her husband have also had the privilege of fostering children in South Florida.
