Hello, I'm Dr. Kara Lanpher, and I'm proud to be serving my hometown of Winter Haven, Florida, through my direct primary care practice, DirectMD. After earning my bachelor's degree from the University of Florida (Go Gators!), attending medical school at St. George's University, and completing my residency at Florida State University, my journey has been centered on the belief that healthcare should be personal again. I'm passionate about preventive care and community medicine, striving to be the kind of hometown doctor who knows you and your family. When I'm not seeing patients, you'll find me on the water—boating or paddleboarding—and I firmly believe that laughter is the best medicine.
