Nathan Cook, DO

Dr. Nathan Cook is a pediatrician at Dockside Pediatrics in Wilmington, North Carolina. He has worked as a pediatric hospitalist at New Hanover Regional Medical Center since moving to the area, and served as medical director of pediatric and newborn services there in 2014 and 2015.

Originally from Oklahoma, Cook and his family spent two years living in Kijabe, Kenya, where he cared for resource-poor and orphaned children at A.I.C. Kijabe Hospital and trained local physicians. His faith shapes how he approaches medicine, and he has stayed active with Samaritan's Purse and Freedom Baptist Church.

He and his wife, Becky, who was born in Wilmington, have four children, Natalie, Sutton, Beckett and Maggie Joy. Cook enjoys traveling with his family, playing golf, and watching football with his sons.
