Eric Stanek, DO

Dr. Eric Stanek is a board-certified family medicine physician at DoctorsNow in Altoona. A first-generation physician, his education and training closely mirror that of his brother, Dr. David Stanek. Raised in Cedar Rapids, he is glad to be back practicing in his home state.

His focus spans exercise physiology, sleep hygiene, mental health, and metabolic health and wellness, and he works to meet each patient where they are in their health journey. He is currently welcoming new primary care patients at DoctorsNow.

A trained boxing instructor with a passion for mixed martial arts, Dr. Stanek likes to travel with friends and family in his spare time and keeps up with Creighton men's basketball.
