Dr. Mansoor Jatoi runs Dr. Jatoi Direct Primary Care in Tucson. A love for outpatient medicine took hold during several years of doing home visits for geriatric patients in the area, work that continued until a growing leadership role and inpatient responsibilities pulled focus away from it two years ago.

Traditional primary care never left enough room to do the job right, in Jatoi's view. Seeing enough patients to cover overhead and staff left too little time to make sure each person's concerns were actually addressed.
