Gulrukh Rizvi, MD

Dr. Gulrukh Rizvi is a family medicine physician at Dr. Rizvi in Eugene, treating patients from childhood through their senior years. After eight years at a large medical organization, she saw too many patients and physicians brought together only by an insurance policy, and came to see the doctor-patient relationship as the real foundation of a person's health. So she opened her own clinic, practicing medicine the way it used to be rather than the way insurers and big-box medical centers dictate.

She encourages patients to take an active role in their own care, looking for the root cause of a problem rather than reaching straight for a prescription pad, and keeps medication use to a minimum.
