Juana Ambriz de Williams

Dr. Juana Ambriz de Williams is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner at Dunes Family Clinic in Valparaiso, Indiana. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice at Valparaiso University and became board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2015, after 15 years of clinical nursing experience in critical care settings including intensive care and emergency departments. She originally trained as a nurse at the University of Iowa.

Dr. Juana believes effective healing depends on taking the time to build real relationships with patients rather than rushing through visits, and she works to make primary care more personal, convenient and valuable for people juggling busy lives. Her Catholic faith, and its call to treat everyone with compassion, shapes how she approaches that work.

Raised in Cameron County, Texas, in the Rio Grande Valley, she has lived in Valparaiso since 2006 with her husband and two children and speaks fluent Spanish.
