Charlyn Emmanuel, MD

Dr. Charlyn Emmanuel is a board certified pediatrician at Emmanuel Pediatrics in Margate, Florida. She earned her medical degree at the University of the West Indies in Mona, Jamaica, then completed her pediatrics residency at the University of Miami/Miller School of Medicine.

Before opening her own practice, she cared for children at offices in Plantation and Coral Springs, where she found herself pushing against the pace of factory-style medicine. In 2020, during the pandemic, she began making house calls, and the unhurried, personal pace of that work stuck with her. It eventually led her to open an office in Margate that keeps the best parts of a home visit while still giving families a proper practice to come to. Building a lasting, trusting relationship with each parent and child guides how she works.

She lives in Margate with her two sons. When she gets a break from patients, the family likes to bike, walk, hit the beach, and travel together.
