Alyssa Wislander, ACNP-BC, CPNP-PC, PMHS

Alyssa Wislander is a board certified nurse practitioner at Essential Health DPC in Davenport, certified in both pediatrics and acute care. She has worked as a nurse since 2003 and became a nurse practitioner in 2011, after earning her undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa and her Master's, Post-Master's, and Doctorate of Nursing Practice all from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Much of her career has been spent in high-acuity settings, including years working as an ER nurse and a flight nurse. She also spent six years as a clinical instructor at the University of Illinois at Chicago, training the next generation of nurse practitioners, and has taught dermatologic procedures at national conferences.

That breadth of experience, from pediatrics to trauma to teaching, gives her a steady, well-rounded approach to primary care.
