Dr. Aleem Kanji practices endocrinology at Ethos Endocrinology in Houston. Born in Chicago, he moved to Houston as a child and grew up between the city and the suburb of Sugar Land. He went on to Houston Baptist University, where he double majored in biology and business, before heading to west Texas for medical school at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.
Kanji returned to his hometown for three years of internal medicine residency at Baylor College of Medicine, then stayed on for a two-year fellowship in adult endocrinology there, training at both MD Anderson Cancer Center and Texas Children's Hospital along the way.
A self-described girl dad, he spends his free time with family, reading, listening to podcasts, and playing basketball.
