Ryan Southard, MD
Dr. Ryan Southard is a board-certified pediatrician and founder of Expedition Health and Pediatrics in Conway. He has cared for patients from newborns just minutes old to young adults in college, having practiced first in Charleston, South Carolina before putting down roots in Central Arkansas.
He started Expedition to fix what he felt was missing from typical pediatric care, things like rushed visits, confusing billing, and long wait times. His approach centers on listening more than typing, building real relationships with families, and staying transparent about costs, with preventive care and early childhood development among his particular passions.
A Conyers, Georgia native, Southard earned his medical degree at the Medical University of South Carolina and completed residency at Arkansas Children's Hospital and the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He spends his free time outdoors with his wife and kids, tackles home projects, and stays active in his faith community.
