Minu Sharma, MD

A medical doctor with a clinical background of serving in hospitals with active research programs, and participating in multiple medical studies. Established a private medical practice and cooperated in research with social service agencies to identify, and track epidemics. A highly experienced physician and down to earth provider, Dr. Sharma is a Board certified family physician who values her relationships with patients and their families and treats each of her patients as member of her own family. She is a strong advocate of patient involvement and recognizes that good healthcare requires a partnership between the physician, patient and community. Dr. Sharma has twenty five years of clinical experience working in some of the busiest hospitals. She was involved with the WHO sponsored pulse polio campaign and smoking cessation program. She did her research work with some of the most renowned physicians at UCSD. Subsequently, she pursued her Family and Geriatric Medicine residency at University of Louisville Medical school. During her residency she continued to work on smoking cessation program which was much appreciated by the community at large.
