Lashunda Blackshear

Lashunda Blackshear is a nurse practitioner at Family First Direct Primary Care in West Palm Beach. She trained at Florida Atlantic University, earning her undergraduate degree in nursing and later her graduate degree as a nurse practitioner, and she brings over fourteen years of experience in trauma ICU step-down and trauma and neurology ICU care to her patients.

A Florida native, Lashunda grew up knowing she wanted to help others, which led her into nursing to serve her community. After years at the bedside she felt pulled to do more, a drive that carried her from registered nurse to nurse practitioner. She is a member of the Palm Beach Nurse Practitioner Council and volunteers with Lend A Hand Corporation.

Today her mission is straightforward, working alongside patients to reach the best outcomes and help build a healthier Palm Beach County.
