Kat Fausch, MD

Dr. Fausch is a board certified family medicine physician at Fireside Direct Primary Care in Summerset. Born in Colorado and raised in Rapid City, she completed both undergraduate and medical school at the University of South Dakota. She then trained in Oregon Health and Science University's rural family medicine residency in a small Oregon town, gaining full scope skills that ranged from obstetrics and point of care ultrasound to wilderness and emergency medicine.

She practices broad spectrum family medicine with particular attention to pediatric and women's health, gender affirming care, and procedural medicine. She also holds an interest in integrative and lifestyle medicine and weight management. Working through a patient's goals together, not just their symptoms, is what drives her approach to care.

She met her husband Eric in medical school, and the two are raising three young children in the Hills. Her free time goes to hiking, camping, reading, and knitting.
