Beau Gedrick

Dr. Beau Gedrick is a physician trained in emergency medicine and sports medicine, seeing patients at Flex Health in Evans. A native of Clinton, Indiana, he played football at Butler University until a neck injury ended his time on the field. He also worked as a lifter for the school's cheer team, graduating in 2000 with a degree in biology and a minor in chemistry.

After a year at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, Gedrick attended Nova Southeastern University's College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, where he trained in osteopathic manipulation. He then completed an emergency medicine residency in Detroit and a primary care sports medicine fellowship back at NSU-COM.

His sports medicine career has taken him through team physician roles spanning college, professional, and high school athletes, an associate professorship at the Medical College of Georgia starting in 2016, and later work as medical director for the Augusta Ironman and Paceline races.
