Hello! My name is Cory Carroll. I am a board certified family physician who's been practicing in Fort Collins for 28 years. I was trained here at Poudre Valley Hospital, now UCHealth, part of the Colorado University system.
Prior to medicine I was an engineer. I graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in mechanical engineering, then went right from there into the Airforce. There is where I got a Masters degree, followed up with some work in the Airforce. I was actually able to help design ejection seats to have less impact on pilots when they got ejected out of planes.
Throughout all of this work even as an engineer I was fascinated with the human body and the next obvious step was medical school. I went to the University of Cincinnati in 1989 and matriculated at that time, moved back to Colorado to start my medical career.
After graduating from residency, I started my medical career hear in Fort Collins and moved around quite a bit, the majority of my time has been spent in solo practice. The reason for that is simple, I like being in control and I think a major part of being a good do
