Cory Carroll, MD

Cory Carroll is a board certified family physician at Foothills Family Care, LLC in Fort Collins, where he has practiced for 28 years. He trained locally at Poudre Valley Hospital, now UCHealth and part of the Colorado University system.

Before medicine, he worked as an engineer. He earned a mechanical engineering degree from Colorado State University, then joined the Air Force, where he completed a master's degree and helped design ejection seats meant to reduce the impact on pilots when they ejected from aircraft.

His fascination with the human body eventually drew him toward medicine. He matriculated at the University of Cincinnati in 1989 and moved back to Colorado afterward to start his medical career. Since finishing residency, he has practiced in Fort Collins, moving between a few settings over the years, with most of that time spent in solo practice, drawn to the independence it gives him in caring for his patients.
