Stephanie Phillips, DO

Stephanie Phillips, DO, was born and raised in Bluefield, West Virginia. She attended Emmanuel College in Franklin Springs, Georgia where she played intercollegiate women's basketball and earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2006.

She obtained her medical degree at the Via College of Osteopathic Medicine on the campus of Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia, where she was President of the Christian Medical and Dental Association and participated in the international missions training program. She graduated in 2010 with her Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine.

Dr. Philips attended family medicine residency in Anderson, South Carolina, at Anmed Health, where she completed a global health track and graduated with honors. She is board-certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians.

Dr. Phillips served our nations hero's at the Department of Veterans Affairs from 2013-2023 in outpatient primary care. She has been Medical Director for two community-based Outpatient Clinics in Princeton, West Virginia, and Athens, Georgia. She has extensive experience caring for children, adolescents, and college-age adults.

She has treated thousands of patients with GLP-1 medications and is one of the most experienced physicians in the US when it comes to managing and dosing these weight-loss medications. She strives to find unique ways to make these medications accessible and affordable to those who need them most.

During the covid-19 pandemic in 2020 Dr. Phillips experienced a paradigm shift in her medical career. She never lost a patient during the pandemic as she actively applied data and research to provide nutritional support and off label use of medications to help her patients. After the pandemic and seeing that many of her patients were dealing with issues she couldn't help with traditional medicine, she began studying and exploring alternative and wholistic medicine.

She became certified in perineural injection therapy in 2023 training directly with Dr. John Lyftogt. She honed her skills in osteopathic manipulation and obtained certification in auricular acupuncture. She also holds faculty appointment as associate professor at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
