Shenary Cotter, BSN, MD, FAAFP

Dr. Shenary Cotter is a board-certified family physician and co-founder of Gainesville Direct Primary Care Physicians in Newberry. The practice was built to step away from insurance-driven medicine and put the doctor-patient relationship back at the center of care.

Cotter has spent time teaching and mentoring young doctors, and brings over 75 years of combined clinical experience alongside colleagues at the practice.

Outside of medicine, Cotter is a parent and a caregiver to aging parents, and stays active in the community through volunteer work and participation in health ministry.
