Louisa Crosby, NP

Louisa Crosby is a nurse practitioner at Gannett Health in Sheridan, Wyoming. She founded the practice in 2022 with the goal of slowing down and doing medicine differently, giving patients more time, deeper attention, and the kind of long-term relationships that actually move the needle on health.

Since 2016 she has practiced across intensive care, urgent care, hospital medicine, women's health, geriatrics, palliative care, and end-of-life care. She has a particular interest in hormone imbalance, diabetes, and metabolic syndrome, in helping younger patients build a foundation for lifelong health, and in providing palliative and end-of-life care at home. Her approach is integrative and evidence-based, and she works closely with specialists across disciplines. Before returning to Big Horn, Wyoming in 2019, she spent thirteen years in Austin, Texas, and has also practiced throughout the Mountain West, New England, France, and Oman.

She lives in Big Horn with her family, where her kids carry on as fifth generation Wyomingites. Between the dogs, cats, and two miniature donkeys, there's rarely a quiet afternoon at home, and they make it out to the water every chance they get.
