John Vu, MD

Dr. John Vu is a board-certified family medicine physician who leads Georgia Wellness Solutions, a Direct Primary Care practice in Griffin, Georgia. He earned his medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine in 1994 and completed his family medicine residency at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in 1997.

Before opening his DPC practice in December 2016, Dr. Vu worked in a traditional private practice and held leadership roles in urgent care and primary care. He has focused on functional medicine since 2000, working to address the root causes of health issues rather than just the symptoms. In 2015 he expanded into aesthetic medicine, guided by the idea that beauty starts from the inside and works its way out. He is also board certified in stem cell procedures and regenerative medicine and trains other physicians nationally in aesthetic techniques.

In 2025, his peers in the Georgia Academy of Family Physicians named him Georgia Family Physician of the Year.
