Dr. Catherine Mauss, DO

I was introduced to medicine at an early age while growing up in Hockessin, Delaware. My parents are both physicians and they inspired me not only to become a doctor, but also taught me how important hard work, dedication, and kindness are in the practice of medicine and in life. I graduated with a BA in Biology from Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, PA. I was introduced to osteopathic medicine during my college years and felt a connection to its focus on treating the patient as a whole, not just as a collection of symptoms. I was excited to be accepted into the class of 2003 at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. I received my doctorate of osteopathy and then completed an internship and family practice residency at Memorial Hospital in York PA. I practiced family medicine from 2006-2021 in an FQHC setting (Federally Qualified Health Care Center). In 2019, I was honored to receive the APEX Patient Choice Award from the Pennsylvania Association of Community Health Centers.
