Dr. Catherine Mauss, DO

Dr. Catherine Mauss is a family medicine physician at Gettysburg Osteopathic Family in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.

Mauss grew up in Hockessin, Delaware, where both parents were physicians who inspired an early interest in medicine along with a lasting emphasis on hard work, dedication, and kindness. After earning a degree in biology from Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, Mauss discovered osteopathic medicine in college and felt drawn to its focus on treating the whole patient rather than a list of symptoms. That path led to the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, class of 2003, where Mauss earned a doctorate in osteopathic medicine, then completed an internship and family practice residency at Memorial Hospital in York.

From 2006 to 2021, Mauss practiced family medicine at a federally qualified health center, and in 2019 received the APEX Patient Choice Award from the Pennsylvania Association of Community Health Centers.
