Terese Bauer

Terese Bauer, MD, is a board certified family medicine physician at Gianna Family Care in Shawnee. She focuses on the health of families in body, mind, and soul, and also serves as a medical consultant with NaPro Technology. Building a culture of life through healthy families is, to her, the most rewarding part of medicine.

A graduate of the Medical College of Wisconsin, she completed her family practice residency at St. Luke's Family Medicine Residency in Milwaukee. She belongs to the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Catholic Medical Association, and has a personal interest in international medical missions. Dr. Bauer is fluent in medical Spanish and welcomes Spanish-speaking patients into her practice.

She and her husband, Paul, a pediatric intensivist at Children's Mercy, have five children and belong to Holy Spirit Parish in Overland Park. When she has free time, she turns to reading, music, travel, camping, and hiking.
