Shane Patterson, MD

Dr. Patterson has been practicing primary care medicine here in the Foothills of Amador and Calaveras counties since 2007. He has provided care in both a private practice setting as well as through Hospital based clinics for both Mark Twain Medical Center and Sutter Amador Hospital. He and his wife Heather have centered their rural Northern California life in Sutter Creek. There they proudly raise their three daughters. Their love for their small town engages them within the community in many ways. While they both practice very different forms of medicine, him seeing the two-legged variety and her the four-legged kind. They both have a deep admiration for their patients and the community that gives them this wonderful opportunity. Beyond the office, many of you already may know, he is an avid sportsman and is often found in the confines of a duck blind or out fishing on his days off. He and his wife's love for athletics also involves them throughout the year coaching Soccer, Tennis and Basketball.
