Brent Holmquist, MD

Growing up in the upper Midwest before landing in Omaha, Brent Holmquist now practices as a physician at Good Life Medicine DPC in Omaha. He is a graduate of Omaha Burke High School and went on to earn a biology and environmental studies degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2001.

Before medical school he spent three years as a lab technician in UNL's agronomy department, work that gave him a practical, science-first foundation before he pursued clinical training. He attended Creighton School of Medicine from 2004 to 2008 and completed his family medicine residency at Clarkson from 2008 to 2011.

From there he spent a decade in corporate medicine, working at the Maple Hills Clinic under Alegent Health and later CHI Health from 2011 to 2021. That experience shaped his decision to open Good Life Medicine DPC, where he brings his Nebraska roots and years of hands-on primary care experience to a more direct model of patient care.
