Mariann Zaki, DO
Dr. Mariann Zaki is a board-certified family physician at Grace Direct Primary Care in Sarasota, Florida.
She grew up in the Coptic Orthodox Christian community in Egypt and spent several years practicing emergency medicine there before moving to New York in 2010, where she met her husband, Dr. Fady Zaki, and settled in the United States. She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University, then trained three years at Manatee Memorial Hospital, where she was named Intern of the Year in 2021 and Mentor of the Year in 2022.
She embraces the osteopathic principle that the body can heal itself and sees patient advocacy as central to good care, working to keep patients healthy and out of the emergency room with a focus on lifestyle medicine and mental health. At home she and her husband are raising daughter Ellie and Labrador Lexi, and she enjoys board games, reading, theology, mission trips, weightlifting, and the beach.
