Alexandra Florence, MD

Alexandra Florence is a pediatrician at Happy Trails Pediatrics in Austin. Originally from Iowa, she grew up in the Austin area and returned to build her practice here.

She earned her degree from the University of Texas at Austin and Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, then completed her pediatric residency at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. After more than five years in traditional insurance-based practice, she grew frustrated with the constraints that got in the way of high-quality care, so she started Happy Trails Pediatrics to offer relational, transparent, and convenient pediatric care instead.

A mother of two, she spends her free time with family, cheering on sporting events, exploring trails, crafting, catching live music, and traveling.
