Amanda Wright, MD

Dr. Amanda Wright is a family medicine physician at Harmony Health Direct Primary Care in Norman, Oklahoma. Raised in nearby Newcastle, she earned an honors biology degree summa cum laude from Oklahoma State University, then attended the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine, and completed her residency at the Great Plains Family Medicine Residency Program in Oklahoma City in 2014.

After spending six years at a hospital-affiliated family medicine clinic in the Oklahoma City area, she opened Harmony Health, drawn to family medicine because it lets her care for patients at every age and stage of life. She especially values treating several generations of the same family and getting to know each one's needs.

She lives in Newcastle with her husband, daughter, and son on an acreage she calls home to a small zoo of animals, and has played piano and sung since childhood, now on her church's worship team.
