Dr. Nova Law
Dr. Nova Law is a board certified family practice physician at Harmony MD Direct Primary Care in Birmingham. A Birmingham native raised in Long Beach, California, she studied at UCLA and earned her medical degree from Michigan State University. She completed her family practice residency at University Hospitals of Cleveland/Case Western Reserve, where she was named Most Honored Resident by the Ohio Academy of Family Physicians, and later took electives at Harvard Medical School and hospitals in Zimbabwe and Ghana.
Dr. Law's goal is to treat the whole patient and the whole family, spending time with people so she can catch the complex problems others miss. Patients have traveled from around the world to see her, and she has shared her medical opinion on local television and in Birmingham print outlets.
She and her husband, Eric Atkins, love to travel, and she enjoys cooking and writing about genealogy.
