Jonathan Shomo, PA-C

Jonathan Shomo is a physician assistant at Hastings Medical Clinic in Bridgewater. He earned his degree in Clinical Laboratory Science at Augusta Medical Center in Fishersville, then went on to James Madison University for his Master of Physician Assistant Studies.

His path into medicine started somewhere else entirely. Shomo's first career was as a kitchen and bath remodeler in Northern Virginia, and he later spent two years as a medical assistant for dermatologist Dr. Scott Bronstein in Reston. From there he moved into physician assistant roles in the University of Virginia's Department of Neurosurgery and Rockingham Memorial Hospital's Department of Cardiology, and he went on to serve as chief medical provider at Heartland Health Clinic. He opened Hastings Medical Clinic in 2022.

Raised in Alexandria, he spent much of his younger years living overseas before settling back into practice in Virginia.
