Earl Maes, MD

Dr. Earl Maes is a clinical radiologist and the founder of Health Hub Clinic in Springfield, with fellowship training in musculoskeletal radiology. He earned his medical degree at the University of Iowa and completed both his residency and fellowship at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

Before turning to radiology, he spent his first three years in practice as an emergency room physician, work that sharpened his instincts for quick, informed decisions under pressure. He also completed a family medicine internship, which broadened his view of patients as whole people rather than isolated symptoms.

That combination of imaging precision and frontline clinical experience shaped his vision for Health Hub Clinic. A serial entrepreneur at heart, he built the practice around integrated, patient-centered care that aims to prevent illness as much as treat it, pairing diagnostic insight with real-world clinical judgment to guide better outcomes.
