Brandy Manetta
Brandy Manetta is a family nurse practitioner at Health is Wealth Family Care in Indianapolis. She earned her FNP certification in 2009 after years of nursing at Methodist Trauma Center, St. Francis ER, and the infield hospital at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
She went on to spend more than six years in IU Health West's emergency department in Avon, serving as director of nurse practitioners and physician assistants for four of those years. Watching patients return again and again without ever finding the root cause of their symptoms drew her toward functional medicine. In 2019, after three years of study, a written exam, and a peer-reviewed case study, she earned certification through the Institute for Functional Medicine, joining a group of just over 1,000 providers nationwide. She believes direct patient care lets her see fewer patients, keep costs lower, and build plans around each person, blending traditional and functional medicine along the way. She is licensed to prescribe medications.
A wife of almost twenty years and a mother of four, Brandy likes to say she wears many titles beyond the clinical ones.
