Jeana Blalock, MD

Dr. Jeana Blalock is a board-certified family medicine physician at Heart In Healthcare in Madison. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Alabama, took part in the Rural Medicine program at Auburn University, and went on to medical school at the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham.

She completed her family medicine residency along with an OB fellowship at UAB Family Medicine Residency in Huntsville, where she later returned to practice in 2020. After several years of growth in insurance-based medicine, she decided her patients would be better served outside that system, so she opened a direct primary care practice of her own. She has found that this model lets her build closer relationships with patients and tailor their care in ways a typical office visit never allowed.

Dr. Blalock is originally from Black, Alabama, and her roots in the state run through her whole path in medicine.
