Brittney Jergovich, DO

Most people know me as "Dr. J," and I am so excited to be launching my own practice- a place where you feel like family and get the time and attention you deserve. I look forward to partnering with you to optimize your health so you can enjoy your life.

I obtained my undergraduate degree in English at Xavier University then attended the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine in Athens, Ohio. I completed my family medicine residency at Summa Akron City Hospital.

My first nine years of practice were spent in corporate medicine. I'm eager to transition to independent practice where I can fulfill my vision of giving patients the best care possible.

I believe that listening to the patient is the most important part of my work. I strive to be thorough without being excessive. I believe in minimizing prescription medication and restoring health by addressing lifestyle considerations. I believe that good health is an ongoing process, not a project.

I firmly believe in caring for patients in mind, body and spirit. You're more than a list of symptoms. I believe in supporting the body's natural ability to heal so you can live the best life possible.

As an herbalist, I've seen the power of medicinal plants at work. They not only help to alleviate symptoms and restore vitality, they also address the underlying cause of many medical concerns.
