About Dylan Morrissey

Dr. Dylan Morrissey is a board-certified internal medicine physician at Highlands Direct Primary Care in Maitland. Raised in Orlando, he studied at the University of Florida before earning his medical degree from the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. While in medical school he worked on research at Moffitt Cancer Center developing CAR-T cell therapies for cancer, then came home to complete his internal medicine residency at Orlando Regional Medical Center with Orlando Health.

That research experience shaped how he practices today. Rather than waiting for chronic diseases to appear, he focuses on preventing them, leaning on lifestyle changes to help patients hold onto their quality of life as they age. Bringing price transparency and better access to primary care back to his hometown is part of what led him to start Highlands Direct Primary Care.
