Joel Massey, MD

Dr. Massey has multispecialty certifications and credentials in preventive medicine, family medicine, tropical medicine, travel health, HIV medicine, rural medicine, and public health. His extensive experience and government service include active duty Air Force combat medicine in Afghanistan, missionary medicine on five continents, and a prestigious Epidemic Intelligence Service fellowship at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Massey has served as a regional medical director for the Texas Department of Public Health across 49 North Texas counties. He provides community service through Walk with a Doc, a fun walking program for people interested in taking literal steps toward a healthier lifestyle.
