Patrick Hobbins, DO

Patrick Hobbins, known as Pat, is a board-certified osteopathic family physician at Hobbins Medical Direct Primary Care in Saint John. Originally from Edina, Minnesota, he came to Indiana to attend the University of Notre Dame, then earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his family medicine residency at Memorial Hospital of South Bend, where he served as vice-chief resident.

Pat spent eight years practicing with Community Hospital before serving as medical director of The Operators' Health Center in Merrillville, the private practice of the Local 150 Operator Engineer Union. He also brings training in holistic medicine, looking past symptoms to treat the root causes of chronic conditions, and he's glad to be back in a community-based practice open to the public.

He and his wife Jeannie have been married since 2007 and have two children, Lillian and Leo. Pat likes to fish, exercise, cook and spend time outdoors.
