Dr. Kate, Board certified pediatric physician

Dr. Kate is an osteopathic physician and founder of Homegrown Pediatrics, PLLC in Ellicottville. She and her husband, Scott, started the practice after having four children of their own and feeling that modern healthcare was not meeting kids' needs. Together they built a direct primary care model where physicians can support families through physical and mental health challenges without insurance getting in the way.

Raised in Cattaraugus, New York, Dr. Kate graduated medical school in 2008 and completed her residency at Women and Children's Hospital of Buffalo, including a year as chief resident. She spent almost eight years at Pediatric and Adolescent Urgent Care of WNY before opening Homegrown Pediatrics in 2020, which has grown organically into a supportive village for families.

With four kids of her own at home, Dr. Kate brings a parent's perspective to the exam room right alongside her clinical one.
