Laura Lindner grew up in Boerne, TX, studied Zoology at Texas A&M University and attended medical school at The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio.
Laura decided to specialize in pediatrics because of her love for children and passion for educating parents.
She remained in San Antonio for residency and planted roots in Alamo Heights with her late husband, Patrick Lindner.
After training, Dr. Lindner began working for a private practice in 2009 where she remained until starting Homegrown Pediatrics in 2022.
Laura and her family enjoy spending time adventuring in the mountains or relaxing at the Texas coast.
They belong to Alamo Heights Presbyterian Church, where Laura has served as a member of the Session and is the AHPC Day School Committee Chair.
Dr. Lindner brings a practical mom approach to her pediatric clinic, raising children with varied personalities as a constant reminder of the diverse needs among her patients.
Dr. Lindner values the time it takes to listen to everyone's point of view and loves developing relationships with families and watching babies grow into young adults.
She likes discussing how to breastfeed or formula feed, start solid foods, potty train, and manage tantrums.
She is a fan of as little medicine as possible and prefers managing colds with warm tea and chicken soup.
She loves to spend time teaching parents and kids about how to make nutritious choices.
