Josie Olsen, DO

Dr. Olsen founded Icon Medical DPC in Sarasota on the belief that patients deserve more time with their physician, better access to care, and treatment decisions driven by their own needs rather than insurance company limits. That belief took shape after years in traditional medicine, where meaningful patient relationships grew harder to sustain amid high patient volumes.

Icon Medical DPC was built to restore that relationship and bring a more personal approach back to primary care. Longer appointments and direct access to Dr. Olsen give patients room to take a proactive role in their own health, with prevention and long term wellness at the center of care rather than decisions made around insurance constraints.
